About This Place

Delicias Elenita is a vibrant Mexican fast food restaurant nestled in the heart of Santa Rosa, California, that effortlessly brings authentic Mexican street flavors to your plate. Located at 816 Sebastopol Rd, this beloved eatery is celebrated for its extensive menu that highlights both classic and bold regional dishes, delivering a rich culinary experience with every bite.

Step into Delicias Elenita and you’ll find a warm, casual dining atmosphere that perfectly complements its street food-inspired offerings. The aroma of freshly grilled meats and spices fills the air, inviting you to indulge in specialties like their signature Elotes—succulent corn on the cob coated with creamy cheese and spices—or the wonderfully unique Beef Intestine Huaraches, a filling and flavorful treat for adventurous eaters. For those seeking traditional favorites, the Chilaquiles simmered in rich sauces, the hearty Torta BBQ Pork, and the indulgent Al Pastor Quesadilla are standout dishes that resonate deeply with Mexican culinary heritage.

Veggie lovers will find comfort in the Vegetarian Tortas and Sope Carne Asada, featuring fresh, vibrant ingredients that don’t skimp on flavor. The extensive torta selection ranges from the affordable and satisfying Asada or Pierna at $14 to the decadent Elenitas Torta at $22, showcasing craftsmanship in every sandwich. Pair your meal with a refreshing Margarita or savor the taste of Sopa Al Pastor on cooler days—the perfect balance of zest and warmth.

The menu’s diversity is matched by the heartfelt service that makes every visit memorable. Longtime patrons like Arely, who has enjoyed Delicias Elenita since childhood, attest to the consistently delicious food and the affordable prices that keep people coming back. First responders have shared touching stories of being welcomed with open arms and complimentary meals, exemplifying the genuine community spirit this restaurant fosters.

Customers are equally enamored by the quality and authenticity here. Julia Jiao praises the tacos for channeling the spirit of Mexico City street tacos with perfectly sized portions that allow you to savor a variety of flavors in one visit. Andrew Corcoran calls the tacos “incredible,” highlighting the savory juiciness of Asada, Al Pastor, Carnitas, and Lengua, though he notes that the small taco portions can add up, making the burritos a great alternative for hearty appetites.

Though the restaurant offers affordable delights like $4 tamales and $6 elotes, some guests have mentioned that specialty items like esquites feel a bit pricey, and there’s a small gap in the menu with no guacamole for quesadillas. Nevertheless, the overwhelmingly positive feedback and genuine love for the food showcase that Delicias Elenita remains a true gem in Santa Rosa’s dining scene.

Whether you’re craving authentic street tacos, bold antojitos, or a satisfying torta, Delicias Elenita provides a flavorful and heartfelt experience. The combination of traditional Mexican flavors, attentive service, and a welcoming vibe makes it a must-visit destination for locals and travelers alike seeking an authentic taste of Mexico in Northern California.

Very good people and amazing food! My crew came here while we were on shift and they gave us our food for free since we came in a first responder vehicle and in uniform. It was a big surprise for us! I plan on coming back in regular clothes so I can show love and support! Will definitely be back. (:

One of the best tacos we had in Santa Rosa. It was easy to park, the service was fast, and they had plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Two of us got 2 rounds of tacos, 8 total since they are small, but are reminiscent of the street tacos we had in Mexico City. I’d revisit this spot if we’re ever in the area.

Wow. Incredible tacos at a very unassuming place. A friend recommended this and boy was I happy. Asada, Al pastor, carnitas and lengua, all just really delicious. My only gripe is each tiny taco is $3. I really went for it and got 8 tacos, and was not overly full… but $24 dollars later I was thinking…That’s a little pricy. Maybe next time a burrito for $11 or $12 and get full.

Born and raised in Santa Rosa, I’ve been coming to this truck since I was a little kid (I’m 22 now) and the food has stayed delicious for over 18+ years! I love coming to this truck, prices are always affordable and besides the memories I’ve made on this little lot, the service and food always have me leaving with a smile on my face. Love this place, love to see their success, and as long as they are standing they will have me as a customer.

Absolutely DELICIOUS! Only downside is esquites are quite expensive, and they don't have guacamole for their quesadillas (weird...).

I don't know what Delicias means, but my translation of it is Delicious. Absolutely the best, and they are open till 3 or so? Isn't that amazing? I tried cochinita pibil, pastor and pollo and i would rate them in the same sequence, marinated pork being my favs, they need no salsa, no lemon, nothing, to make them soooo goood. And i tried torta, pork one, omgg the bread/bun has never been this fresh and refreshing. I have always seen torta's the heavy one, this torta was lite and fun must try along with cochinita pibil
